NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
APPLICATION FOR SOLAR ENERGY FACILITY EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF LEE TOWNSHIP, CALHOUN COUNTY, MICHIGAN AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Hecate Energy Sunfish Solar LLC and Hecate Energy Sunfish Solar 2 LLC have filed applications for Solar Energy Facility Exemption Certificates with the Lee Township Clerk with regard to certain properties in Lee Township.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a public hearing on each application will be held by the Lee Township Board on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, commencing at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard. All interested persons are invited to be present at the aforesaid time to comment on the applications and the approval or disapproval of the Solar Energy Facilities Exemption Certificates. Any person may provide comments on the requests for solar facility exemption certificates by appearing in person at the public hearing or by submitting written comments to the Township Clerk at the address below by 12 noon on the day of the public hearings.
Lee Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities at the hearing(s) upon seven (7) days notice to the Township Clerk at the address or telephone number listed below.
